Default Re: Riding Temperature - When do you say it's too hot?

In all honesty, after doing that ride back in February earlier this year with a bunch of Netriders* (who are prolly now mostly B&S-ers), I don't reckon any heat would keep me off the road. Considering that I don't have air-con in the house, it's better to feel the cool sensation from the wind blowing on sweat through one's jacket! Stopping is not nice though.

I believe it would be wise to use one of those backpacks with water and straws. My doc told me that I had dehydration after the pink ribbon ride several weeks ago, just because I didn't keep my fluids up that day (and I thought vodka would have done the trick)

*The ride can also be identified as the one where we all pulled over the side of the road at Mirboo North and near died of exhaustion!
