Well there we go, it's a process starting in my mind. I've had plenty of time to think about this job, where I am, where it could go, and what I'm in for over the next period of time. My results? I don't like it. This isn't the place for me.

I think tonight's tea was one of my most epic fails in my cooking career. I've decided this job isn't really what I want. Sure it pays well, but it's stressful and unrewarding. I'd much rather earn a little less to enjoy my work day and come home feeling like I've accomplished something more than just making it through the day.

I'm really feeling quite under-the-weather this morning. Woke up sweating with a wave of nausea when I got up. Not good. I think it was a bit of dehydration, I've been drinking not enough water of late, but now I've had a glass or two plus some brekky, I'm a little better. Still a bit stiff and sore.

My brother-in-law doesn't understand blogs. In his view, why would anyone want to post up all the details about their private life on the internet for everyone to see? Well, in my case, I feel justified as I have a bunch of people back home in Tassie wondering how I'm getting along. At least I hope I do! So I find it useful to be able to keep a record of how things are going up here so I don't have to write however many emails to people telling them.

I think it will be interesting to see who uses these, I'm an avid blogger myself but just who else is? Also, what will people put in here? Some may use it just to document their bike adventures, others day-to-day life. Hopefully not, but we may even get the odd emo teenager
