Bikes and Scooters

Repairs to the bike are almost complete after the last off at Broadfrod. Dave [Fatal] has done a great job of rebuliding some bits that got smashed away.

The tank will remain as is until the end of the season and then we will do a complete respray of the bike and fix some smaller cracks in the race fairings.

My plans for 2009 is to race in the Superstock class, this will happen once the SV650 is sold.

I have already arranged a Yamaha Race Deal for 2009, it's basically a discount off the bike, don't think it's a lot, but it will give me the 2009 model for the 2008 price.

Just talking to a few people in the class to see what needs to be done on the bike, with some luck I will sell the bike before the season starts, might not get a lot of practice in, but at least I will be racing...

Thought I might add this to my blog, I am heading to Winton on the 12th October to contest the forth round of the Intercub series, never been around Winton before, been there and see the action, but not ridden there yet.

So my plan is too, just follow someone fast around there, don't think it will take me long to get into the groove.

Might head up on the Friday for some practice, or should I say to find out what corners I need to turn on.

Most people will have noticed the style change, I am starting to become a pro at this stuff, but it's eating up some time.
This forum has been consuming large amounts of my time trying to get things running smooth in the background.
Very happy with things as they are, just sit back and enjoy it for awhile I think.

Well I thought I might start a blog on my racing comeback, if you can call it that. Well after December last year when my son decided he no longer wanted to race I decided to do the same, after all I was racing to do something with him.

I need it, so I am back!

So, my schedule is to first do the seniors race next month and then I will be helping out chequered flag with a rider training course at Broadford on the Monday, then the big endurance race the following weekend....

Well, me and Matt are building a new links directory in the background, most people will be impressed with the new.

Hopefully it will be live in a few days, then we will replace all the current links with the new.

This version is like a forum, but it's a links forum where you can comment on the link or service provider, even rate them etc etc. and it's all within the current forum.

Back to work for me, might place a few images here over the next couple...
