Bikes and Scooters

Sitting here about ot go to bed cos I'm tired and don't want to be tired at new job...but getting sms' from someone having a go at me because I'm spending GP wknd doing GP things when I should be spending it wtih my youngest. My wknd with her is this wknd - not GP wknd - but that doesn't matter. it's school hols and I should be spending spare wknds during school hols with her.

And I'm bad because I'm not taking the time to do something 'special' with her this wknd...something that...

Only two more weekends of work and I'll be able to sleep in. I finish up there next wknd. Today and tomorrow I'm training my potential replacement. Had to sit down last nigth and write out a list of the tasks that I do every day - looking at it in writing, omg I didn't realise I did so much there and in such a short period of time. No wonder I always fall asleep on the couch when I get home from work.

Anyway, I love working there and the people are great and the job pays well, but...

I came off restrictions yesterday (Monday) and while I'm not getting a bigger bike just yet (will wait till late this yr/early nxt) I am feeling a bit excited about it all.

Finished school early today and was riding past the Dandenong turnoff - intent on getting home to do home stuff - when I thought 'stuff it' and turned off at the last second for Peter Stevens at Dandenong.

First thing I saw when I got there was a white Speed Triple out the front. Nice...I...

Yesterday I had big plans on knocking off work and coming home to work on an assignment (1 of however many - I've lost count), clean this messy messy house up and cook a slice.

I ended up coming home, jumping on the bike and going for a ride into Cowes (better than nothing) to the supermarket, got some stuff, dropped around at Bren's and then rode to Cape Woolamai for takeaway from White Salt (totally recommend this place if you're ever down here) and then rode home in pouring down...

Wow I just realised that in 11 sleeps (or 12 - I can't add tonight) I will be off restrictions.

And I don't have a bigger bike!

Yet.

Good things come to those who wait - and work hard - and budget well. Most likely next January...but could be sooner depending on what job I get and what pay I get.

Ultimately, I'd like a Shiver or GSXR750 (test ride! test ride!) under the Xmas tree...this year.

But just...

Today at work I ran in and out of villas in either:

a) Pouring rain
b) Blasting wind
c) Pouring rain AND blasting wind, or
d) Sunshine and blue sky

Talk about 4 seasons 21 times in a day.

I also stripped 51 villas of dirty linen and rubbish, found 5 large packets of potato chips left behind in a villa, ate half a large packet of chicken potato chips and then would you believe it, just when I was getting a craving for Coke (as you do when...

Friday...

I found out I've got a job interview with a library in Melbourne. Next Thursday.

I ate 2 tangellos tonight and choked on the juice of the second one.

What else? Nothing much. Worked. Drove the girls to work/bluelight/friends.

My oldest made me a coffee and it was disgusting.

I wrote the world's most boringest blog entry ever.
