Bikes and Scooters

I stopped at the shop on the way home last night, went inside and bought what it was I needed to buy and walked back out.....10 mins I was gone. As I walked around the corner to where the bike was parked I looked up and saw it there under the street light and I found myself smiling as I walked towards it.

I've had the Triumph for 12 months now, commute on it daily, take it for weekend blasts and after all that it still brings a smile to my face whenever I look at it.

Pulled into the carpark today as I do everyday and went to turn into my usual parking spot and was upset to discover another bike was in my spot. As it happens this bike was a brand spanking new Ducati Monster, it was so new in fact I think whoever owns it has just picked it up from the dealer down the road and ridden it straight here. So I park the Trump next to it and take the opportunity to have a look at the two bikes side by side.

I almost bought the Monster instead of the Triple...

Yesterday morning rode into work in perfect sunshine, sunnies on, a beautiful way to start the day.

Rode home in the soaking rain (first time in the wet on the new bike) and arrived looking like a drowned rat, steam rising off the hot bits and a bad case of the dreaded wet & cold groin

Get up this morning and its another beautiful day to ride to work.

Dear Mr Blog,

I have a decision to make and you know how I hate making decisions. 9 months ago I had no bikes and now I have 2. Thats a great position to be in SlowStu I hear you say, however I just don't know what to do with my old VFR. I cant keep it registered can I? I mean I cant afford to pay for 2 cars and 2 bikes what do you think I am a Gazillionaire!!!!!!!
