Default A Sirius Case of the "P"s

Thursday (27/11/09) was the day that I did my Stay Upright P1 (MOST) Riders Course. Demerit points are given for faults. No head checks - 3 points every occasion, Put you foot down - 3 points, etc.

A pass is 0-8 points, a fail is 9-above. I am please to say i passed with no demerit points . Who said you can't teach an old dog new tricks.

I now get to ride at 90 k/hr instead of 80 k/hr, so now Menace and Debat don't have to wait so long for me to catch up.

So now I sit on my "P" plates for 12 months before my mature rider exemption kicks in. I get four demerit points during this time, but any speeding offence in this time means a loss of the license for 3 months. I don't encourage speeding, but bloody hell that is strict!

However, I am unsure whether I need to display my "P" plate during this time. Anyone out there in NSW as a mature rider that can help?

Yes, Nathan I am a bit paranoid, I wouldn't be be if people stopped talking about me.

You do need to put your feet down on my bike, same as a two wheeler, no put foot down - fall over!

I can lock the suspension travelling under 10 k/hr but I don't like it, uneven road surfaces, etc.

It is good though when you have stopped, heavy traffic, etc. Just put both feet up, put on the handbrake, place hands on hips and relax.

Thanks, Sir Price,

No I rode the MP3 to and from the test. It really is too big (and too long) to do the obsticle course, so I rented a small two wheel scooter for the day.
