JPEG for web use, and 800px on longest side
But for storage use onto disc TIFF or RAW & original size

That's beautiful Dave

This morning Ashley came in to my room and told me to look out the window. Sitting right outside on the post was our pet kookaburra. It's not really a pet, but we have a family of them that are always near the house to greet us when we have been out

Unfortunately it was gone by the time I got the camera out

Next thing, Jarrod calls me into the kitchen to look out the window...an absolutely beautiful rainbow, and it stayed there long enough for me to get a shot

Just to confirm, I am NOT a photographer (which is why I love the photos in this thread), and I only have a crappy little digital camera, but here it is:
