After making a conscious decision to drive to work rather than ride just so I was sure all would be good for Tassie ..... I jumped on the Sprint after my sleep and went to Peter Stevens FTG to grab some coolant just to top it up.
On the way home I change right to left lanes to setup myself up for a left hand turn further along and this fukstick min a Nissan twincab ute moves into my lane ... so as I am riding along with this monolith next to me in MY lane I look thru the passenger window, he looks and gets a fright.
So I give my 2cents worth at the corner. He was lucky I had my riding boots on I was so ready to kick in his panels.
Hope I never come this close again ..... bike will be staying home tonight .........

Hey John , would I be taking a stab in the dark to think this episode happen on Ferntree Gully Road as I've seen folk do some silly things in cars on that road where lanes merge and expand etc. Last friday night I nearly put my truck's grill badge into the backseat of a Statesmen at Stud Rd intersection when a silly woman jumped across 2 lanes to my get in my lane right under my nose as I was braking and I stopped with only 2-3 inches between us. I jumped out and asked her what the hell she was thinking and she simply said she thought I was turning left and how she could tell that from my right hand side I'll never know, you just have to wonder what some people are doing behind the wheel of a car sometimes!!! Glad you escaped unscathed John, enjoy Tassie mate.

in my 2.5 hours of commutting each day im seeing some stupid drivers, and every day the same bloody ute, with 2 dogs in the back doing 40 in a 100 zone... grrr...

Guess who cannot get back to sleep?

The nurse came in to get my obs and change the drip and for the life of me, I just cannot sleep now. Hospital beds are very uncomfy may I say..........
