Yep I hear ya, last time you pulled into my street, I could see your bike, but couldn't hear it, thought it was one of those new fangled electric bikes

No gripes here today... had a great day... visited Laima - then went on to a friends house who taught me how to do spray can art... she was amazed that I did such a good job at my first attempt.. will take photo later and post it!

Brig, how's the neck & head... will you be heading down to Costellos tomorrow night????

Here's the picture I made today from spray cans... not bad for first attempt - my friend is awesome at them! There's a bit of light glare in the right hand bottom corner... I had no idea there was such a thing called 'spray can art'

Thanks for your concerns Kat and Tracey

I am regretting going out for a ride today, only made the stupid neck worse. I can never wait until something completely heals. As soon as I feel there is an improvement, I am back into life like nothing has happened

I know it's hard Brig, but you MUST let time pass and heal properly...I'm sure you don't want to prolong in

Here's hoping

nice thread.. I'll add my 2c..

it looks like I am trading my CBR600RR in tomorrow.. I'm really going to miss it, but to be honest, it is not the most comfortable thing to ride on the road for anymore than a few hours (for me anyway)..

When summer comes around again later in the year, I'll be buying a cheap track bike to have fun on.. but for the mean time, I need something a little more sensible, comfy and capable of some longer distance trips I want to do on my soon to be free weekends (new job) .. as well as being able to carry a pillion in a little mofe comfort than the CBR affords..

so, I have decided on a VFR800 - the Tri Colour limited edition one.. sorting out finances tomorrow and she should be mine early next week..

I'll be selling my "bling" off the CBR seperately, just trading the bike stock to pay for new bling (most likely "unbling" luggage though)

Ok now I need to rant, cleaned my spark plugs tonight to see if that will fix my engine problem, slight improvement but still not really happy, but will see tomorrow morning when the engine is cold.

Anyway, thought I would take it for a spin around the local area, really nice night for it as well, virtually no traffic. Pull in at one of the car parks along the beach, nice I'm thinking. Wished I could stay longer but then I would have probably fallen asleep at the beach. I head off home, get home, get the bike into the garage, put the ventura rack back onto the bike, and realised I had left the locking nuts loosly in the holes. Only one remains , now I have to waste time at bunnings to find a suitable replacement. Unless someone knows where I can get one of the ventura ones from as I do prefer them with the little key thingy majig that allows you to tighten them ?
