Talking Re: Riding Temperature - When do you say it's too hot?

I'd say 40+ for me.. although I've ridden in it in the past... lol although in summber I carry a hydration pack on me .... plus going to get a well vented leather jacket soon.. so Im guessing thats gonna help....

LOL.. although I guess I love riding too much in the rain and in stormy weather... saying that I saw a guy in Bendigo in a T-shirt.. and it hammered down... lol couldnt help but giggle... while I was in the landrover cage.

As much as I voted 36-40, it all depends.

If I'm continually moving (and hydrated), 40+ is starting to be the limit. If I'm stopping and starting/in traffic/etc, 36+ is enough.

I was going to do a track day tomorrow, but couldn't get in, at this stage I think it could have been a good move considering the temperature will be 36°C, that's as good as 40°C + on a track.

I think it really can get too hot for me to ride. I usually can the idea of riding if it's gonna be 35 degrees and up.
The sportsbike burns my legs and I get too hot and grumpy, esp. in traffic.

traffic is the killer in hot weather... the fan on the right side radiator kicks in when the water temp gets above 100 C, and starts blasting it onto my leg...

probably trying to tell me something I guess...

Still rather be sitting in a puddle of sweat on the bike than spend 10 minutes in an air conditioned office, or car, or house.. but not pub

of course, TG in leathers on a bike always gets me a bit hot under the collar

I voted 36+
I did the Toy Run in the 40deg heat, and even on the way home at my own pace with a mesh jacket on, it felt like my head was literally boiling over, no cool breeze just heat, not a nice/safe feeling at all, it gave me a massive migrane, and I felt so sick, this little black duck won't be doing that ever again!

get on that bike and catch some air
sitting on your butt in the chair
you sweat you drip you feel like crap
grab that bottle & get it strapped
miles or riding will sooth your overheat
riding with mates to a beach
get wet & play in some waves
at the end of the day
go home to display
Great pics of the drips
with smiles for miles
