It will be for 2 road bikes, I've found a few good ones new for around $900, so less than that. There are a few good 3 bike trailers on ebay for around $500-700, but will keep my eye out for a 2-bike trailer.

Bike trailers are funny, very hard to find one, as soon as somebody puts one up cheap, they get snapped up before ya can reload ya gun. i ended up with my father in laws 7 x 4 trailer, has to be 7 long, not standard 6, to fit a bike in strait, you can fix 2 bikes in a 7 x 4 apparntly, although so far ive only managed 1. i have a channel ive gota to install into the trailer too, as well as tie down points in mine, all bolt in items, which have cost me less than 30 bucks all up, it really doesnt seem hard to modify them, infact a lot of trailer makers are including these items as options. so have a hunt around for a box trailer like that, and make one if your having trouble finding the right trailer, box's go very cheaply.

you can fit, 1 bike in a 6 x 4, but on an angle, you can also extend a 6 x 4 into a 7 x 4 fairly easily, i think mine strted life out as a 6 x4.

Mad-Biker, I like your idea. I'll definitely look into that. There's a local shop I've been to before which does all sorts of metal work and welding should I need it, and they're very cheap. Thanks all for the responses.

Bahaha!! I like that. I'll, errr, take that under consideration Tarzan. Thankyou.

Actually of the new trailers, if in the end I spend that amount of money, one that folds up could definitely be useful.
